Allstate Insurance Company recently announced the appointment of Michael Schuster, 44, to Assistant Field Vice President for the company's Southwest Region, which includes the states Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Oklahoma.

Schuster was previously a senior state manager for the Northeast and Capital Regions for Encompass Insurance, a subsidiary of Allstate, at Allstate's corporate headquarters in Northbrook, Illinois. Schuster's new responsibilities will include leading the sales growth effort, product development and implementation, improving the customer experience and strengthening profitability. Schuster holds a B.A. degree from Washington State University.
